This culture hub was designed to fit into the historical context of the Singapore river.

Inspired by the Orang Laut who once lined the waterway, the hub features a unique roof design and stilts along the facade, similarly to how traditional homes were built on stilts with steep roofs. The surrounding grounds are inspired by traditional games played in the community, resulting in capteh pavilions and the five stone garden. Additionally, the grounds also contain a pasar malam and performance space.
