The project assignment was to draw inspiration from natural flora and fauna for an architectural proposal. This was done via online research and a learning journey to Botanic Gardens. Based on this, I designed a library inspired by the mantis shrimp, Odontodactylus Scyllarus. Overlapping wall panels and facade elements mimic the segmented body and numerous legs of the mantis shrimp respectively.
